Navigating Real Estate Closings Through Life's Challenges

Not all real estate closings are happy ones. As real estate professionals, we have the honor and privilege of helping people navigate some of the most stressful and difficult times when they're forced to sell their homes.

Just yesterday, we closed on a property for a client who lost her husband. Living in California while owning property in Puyallup, Washington, she needed extensive support. We helped by:

  • Referring her to a trusted estate attorney

  • Coordinating contractors and inspectors

  • Checking on the property regularly since she wasn't local

These are the services we're grateful to provide. I wish I could have met her husband, but I understand that selling a house during emotional times is incredibly stressful. Our goal is to bring patience and peace of mind to help clients navigate these difficult circumstances.

Of course, we also celebrate the happy moments in real estate:

  • Job promotions leading to relocations

  • Families moving to the Tacoma-Seattle area

  • First-time homebuyers achieving their dreams

  • Investors purchasing their first properties

As senior real estate specialists and luxury agents serving the greater Tacoma and Puyallup areas, we see it as a tremendous privilege that people trust us through both joyful and challenging times.

Some of the more difficult situations we help clients through include:

Downsizing after health issues like a fall

  • Navigating separations or divorces

  • Relocating due to job loss

  • Health issues

  • Unexpected Life Circumstances

No matter what brings you to sell or buy a home, we count it an absolute honor and privilege to serve you. Thank you for your trust. Give us a call today for a confidential consultation at 253-576-7707.

Real Estate Coach for Moms: A Heartfelt Approach to Your Business

Let's be honest, being a real estate mom feels a lot like living a double life. One minute, you're a fierce negotiator closing a deal; the next, you're a loving mom trying to close a stubborn car seat buckle. The truth is, you're a superhero, but even superheroes need a plan—and a cheerleader.

The traditional real estate world was not designed for the beautiful chaos of motherhood. It often leaves you feeling torn, exhausted, and wondering if you're truly succeeding at either job.

You deserve a business that doesn't just survive but thrives, all while honoring your commitment to your family. My coaching is built on this very belief. It's not about working harder; it's about working smarter, with a plan that fits your life, not the other way around.

Together, we'll transform your overwhelmed to-do list into a focused, powerful strategy. We'll turn financial worry into a clear path for growth and stability. Most importantly, we'll replace that nagging "mom guilt" with the quiet confidence that you are exactly where you're meant to be, doing exactly what you're meant to do.

You don't have to navigate this journey alone. You have a superpower—the love and drive of a mom. Let's channel that power into building a business that supports your family and fulfills your soul.

I'd love to connect with you. If you're ready to create a business that feels good and works for your life, let's chat.

What Your Neighbor’s Home Just Sold For — And What It Means for Your Home’s Value

Are you curious about the recent home sales in your neighborhood? If you own a property in areas like Gig Harbor, Bonney Lake, Puyallup’s Sunrise or Olympia neighborhoods, Lakewood, or North Tacoma, now is a great time to understand how these sales could impact your home’s value.

Homes in the $750K–$1.2M Range Are Moving Faster Than You Think

Many homeowners assume that buyers in the higher price brackets are holding back. But recent closings tell a different story.

For example:

  • A home in Gig Harbor North recently sold for $795,000, going above asking price after only 6 days on the market.

  • In Puyallup’s Sunrise community, a similar-sized home closed at $865,000 after multiple offers.

  • A North Tacoma craftsman just passed the $1 million mark, setting a new neighborhood record.

If your home is move-in ready—or could be with a few updates—you might be sitting on more equity than you realize.

3 Signs It Might Be the Right Time to Sell

  1. You’ve owned your home for 7+ years and haven’t checked its current market value.

  2. You’re considering downsizing, relocating closer to family, or moving out of state.

  3. You want to take advantage of strong demand and limited inventory in your price range.
